Back to the roots...

I was born and raised at Menzberg and live again since 2015 with my husband at this highest situated village of the Napf region. Since I started a B&B in Luzern with my old school-mate in the year 2000, I worked on the Bürgenstock within the 5*-star hotellery, at London within the Spanish 4*-star hotel chain Melià Whit House, in marketing within the impressive world of dermocosmetics at Eucerin Switzerland and finally back again to conference and banqueting at the seminar hotel Bocken in Horgen at the lake of Zurich.

I am curious and love to discover, adore "pretty things" and love to spoil other people... Whithin the last years I travelled a lot and met a lot of great people. Now I love to give those expericences and regional tips to our guests so they may discover this beautiful Napf region from its best side.

With the opening of the Bed & Breakfast Hotel Peter and Paul one of my dreams came true and a very much enjoy realising something new with such great colleagues, initiates and businesspeople from Willisau.

I was born in Magdeburg and have been living in Switzerland since 2000. Since then, I have worked in various roles within the hospitality industry. I do this with a great deal of passion and dedication. I have been living in Ettiswil with my partner since 2012 and feel very much at home here. The region never ceases to enchant me with its beauty. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as running, or spending time with friends doing things together. In April 2025, I will be taking on a new challenge at the B&B Hotel in Willisau. Here, I will have the opportunity to learn many new things. I am also looking forward to pampering you, putting a smile on your face and, for example, making your day a little sweeter with a delicious breakfast.

I have been working part-time at the beautiful B&B Hotel in Willisau since January 2017. This job allows me to get to know lots of new things. As I work in all areas, in the kitchen, in the office and in cleaning, the work is very varied and that makes it interesting. What I particularly like about my job is the contact with guests, whether at reception, on the phone or at breakfast in the morning. It's nice and rewarding to meet so many interesting people. I am grateful for this.

Since I moved to Switzerland in 2019, Willisau has been home to me and my family. I am captivated by the beauty of this region and enjoy exploring it further in my spare time. Recently, I have been trying to share this new passion with my daughter, Nikola.

I am very much looking forward to the fact that working at the B&B Hotel Peter und Paul allows me to introduce our guests to the wonderful nature and culture of our region, whilst also getting to know interesting people. Thanks to the varied tasks I undertake at our hotel, I have the opportunity to develop myself, which I am very pleased about. The small, close-knit team makes both my work and your stay at our hotel an exceptional experience.

I like to spend my free time in the countryside, especially hiking. At home, I enjoy trying out interesting recipes from all over the world or reading. My latest hobby is yoga.

As someone who loves the outdoors and enjoys spending my free time hiking and in nature, I know how important relaxation and well-being are – values that I would also like to share with our guests.

With my many years of experience in retail, particularly in the sports sector, and my role as a branch manager, I have not only learnt to take on responsibility, but also to adapt to people and always act with warmth and authenticity. The move into the hospitality industry is an exciting new challenge for me, one in which I can fully apply my skills and passion for hospitality. Whether you are travellers from all over the world, business guests, athletes or individual overnight guests – I look forward to welcoming you all here. Every single guest is unique and deserves our full attention and warmth. It is my special wish to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

Since start of May 2015 I am part of the B&B team. I helped with the last preparations for the opening. My task areas are mainly doing the laundry and cleaning the rooms. It gives me joy to work with consequently ecological products. I am married and we have a middle sized farm in Hergiswil, the herbal village in the Napf region. In summer time, you may find my herbs and flowers at the B&B and the whole year round you can enjoy the jams, done with the berries out of our garden. Our three children are already all grown up. Since I work since several years already as a waitress and could gather experience in the hotel business for three years, the work at the B&B Hotel represents a great enrichment to me. We are an engaging and harmonious team.

I live with my family in Willisau and love to keep things clean. That's why I've been working in the cleaning industry for over 20 years.

I enjoy this work and I really appreciate working in this team and the lovely B&B atmosphere with biologically consistent cleaning products.

For the 2019 summer season, I came to the beautiful B&B Hotel to temporarily support the team in the breakfast and kitchen service. I was all the more pleased to officially join the team on a part-time basis in October 2019.

I live in Ettiswil with my husband and our grown-up daughter. We really feel at home there. The local recreation area and public transport nearby are perfect.

In my leisure, I love to be outdoors with Nordic walking, hiking and gardening. Cooking, baking, enjoying fine food and a glass of good wine with family and friends is simply a joy.
